Ajmal Khan, CEO, concentrating on investment strategy, the identification of investment opportunities, placement, and exit strategies.
Background : In 1989 Mr. Khan founded Verus Capital Corporation (“VCC”), a diversified investment group and has served as its President and Chief Executive Officer since its inception. VCC has invested in growth companies in Internet, information, media, high technology and real estate fields. He has also made investments in companies in the process of reconstruction. VCC has played an active management role with investee companies, using its extensive network to assist with acquisitions and mergers, to provide capital and by arranging the listings of portfolio companies on major stock exchanges. Investments have usually been made jointly with large financial institutions, including Citigroup’s Technology Venture group. Mr. Khan serves on the board of directors of several private and publicly quoted companies. |
